Vojtěch Mlýnek

On August 10, 2012, the Czech Police (URNA) and a local SWAT unit, backed up by over 100 policemen, arrested 29 year old Vojtěch Mlýnek in Ostrava, the Czech Republic’s third largest city.

According to the police, Mlýnek was preparing an operation inspired by the 2011 Norway attacks. He had stockpiled weapons, including a full-automatic assault rifle and armor piercing bullets, and had equipped an aerial bomb with a wireless ignition system. Mlýnek had the detonator with him when he was arrested.

During the search the police founds uniforms of the Czech police and a police ID. Mlýnek has a history of four prior criminal convictions, including a six months suspended sentence for setting off an explosive which demolished a wooden shelter.

Mlýnek was using the pseudonym Anders Behring Breivik in electronic communication. As of August 2012 he was charged with endangering the public, possession of illegal arms, and faces from three to eight years in prison. Mlýnek was held in a remand prison, where he underwent a psychiatric evaluation, following which he was transferred to an isolation unit of a prison hospital in Brno.

It’s unclear if Vojtěch Mlýnek is a member of Knights Templar Europe or simply enjoys blowing things up. If he’s a resistance fighter he gets a B for enthusiasm, but an F for keeping a low profile. As per protocol he’d have to deny being a resistance fighter so he gets out of jail within eight years.

Update 2013-05-02

Vojtěch Mlýnek has been declared insane and has been placed under psychiatric care, which can be extended indefinitely.
